How to make graphic wooden mats or coasters.

GRAPHIC WOODEN MATS

 

 

Things you will need:

  • Dried tree branch
  • Chop saw
  • White paint
  • Satin finish polyurethane
  • Black permanent sharpie
  • Paint brush
  • Sand paper 

 

 

 

STEP:1

Slice up 3/4″ thick pieces of tree branch and smooth one side.

 

 

 

 

STEP:2

Mix white paint with water in equal parts and brush on the bark edges.

 

 

 

 

STEP:3

Trace the numbers on the wooden pieces with the help of a pencil.

 

 

 

 

STEP:4

Fill in the numbers using a permanent black sharpie.

 

 

 

 

STEP:5

Now brush satin finish polyurethane on sides and surface of each coaster.
